Vladimir Prodanovich

Vladimir Prodanovich, painter born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, is one of those artists who belong to few Yugoslavian geniuses who are considered universal painters. His work is found in select private and public collections and in prestigious galleries in United States and abroad. Following his own course and resembling no one but himself, Prodanovich has constructed a world of unlimited frontiers which makes use of the most diverse techniques, the most unusual materials and the most contradictory influences. All his canvases are highly layered; but texture, composition and form can vary widely but are all executed with mastery. Painter and sculptor, Prodanovich reveals the complex tought in his own highly individual sense of color. Since 1983 Vladimir lives and works in Laguna Beach, California.
